We went hiking the famous Hatonosu Valley along the upper Tama
River(from Hatonosu to Shiromaru lake, about 2 kilometers) and then
visited the Nippara stalactite cave in th Okutama mountains . In
addition, we also saw the Shiromaru
Hydro power Station, dam and fish ladder and so on.
It took us about 2 hours ride by train from Ohmori Station and one
hour's walk from Okutama Station.
