I have taken part in workshop at Ohta Folk museum,Magome, Ohta-ward, and I made my own straw sandals this afternoon.
These straw are rice ones. Straw sandals are called 'warazouri' in Japanese. These kind of sandals were used in doing field works until the World War II.
I have tried them on and took a short walk. I felt someone like a man of edo era. Here presents a pair of Warazouri made by m.y.

This afternoon, we took part in making a round tour of temples and shrines in Haneda District, Ohta-ward, Tokyo. It was sponsored by
Ohta Folk Museum. It took about three hours .
Haneda Area used to be fishing villages at Edo era,and right now
there are small industries and shopping zones.

Today is a final date for workshop 'art class for adult' at the Museum of Contemporary Art , Tokyo. We ,19 participants ,made wonderful

We took part in a field trip for various kind of votive pictures
at the shrines and temples in Kawasaki City, being guided by the curator of Kawasaki City Museum.
About fifteen people joined us. The tablets were made
